    Oversubscription realized for Bahrain Treasury Bills

    This week’s BD25 million issues of Government Treasury Bills, issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain, were oversubscribed by 308%.

    The 91 day bills, were issued on behalf of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

    The issue date of the bills is 8th September 2010 to mature on 8th December 2010, with a weighted average rate of interest of 0.58%.

    The previous bill issue was in August of this year making the total outstanding value of Government Treasury Bills BD560 million.
