    Somali pirates seize cargo ship with 18 crew

    Somali pirates Wednesday seized a Malta-flagged cargo ship with 18 crew in the Gulf of Aden, Xinhua reported.

    European Union naval force spokesman John Harbour said after several unsuccessful attempts to make contact with the MV OLIB G vessel, the USS Princeton warship launched its helicopter which spotted two pirates on board. The crew included 15 Georgian and three Turkish.
